The Middle Park High School Music Department is going through some exciting changes.  After 20-plus years as a full-time performer/entertainer, I've accepted a position as music teacher at MPHS.  In my career as a professional musician I've been fortunate to share the stage with numerous name performers, including Bob Hope, Mickey Rooney, Dr. John, John Mayall, etc.  I've performed in Atlantic City on a split bill with Sam Butera and the Treniers.  I've played jazz gigs with hundreds of musicians, including Javon Jackson, Kidd Jordan, Kim Cusack, Bob Schulz, Barrett Deems, Jim Beebe, Franz Jackson, Lucien Barbarin and the Queen City Jazz Band.  On the R&B side, I've opened shows for Dr. John, Marcia Ball, Geno Delafose and the Iguanas.

I've released 4 cds under my own name and appear on 20 recordings by various artists.

At last count, I've performed over 4,500 shows, including 1 year at The Famous Door on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, RCCL cruise lines "Song of America", the historic Delta Queen Steamboat, jazz festivals all over the country, 15 years at Louisianne's cajun restaraunt in Wisconsin and a concurrent 15 year run as leader of the New Orleans Revival Jazz Band at various venues in the midwest.  I also studied jazz piano privately with Ellis Marsalis while pursuing my degree in piano performance.

I bring a diversity of musical experiences to bear in teaching music to Grand County kids.
